Wikipedia is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary today: 25 years knowledge! Like many, Favas.net considers this platform to be ‘the architecture of the entire internet’. That’s why we use it extensively. In various contributions and features we are glad to link to Wikipedia articles. Favas.net is a donor to the Wikimedia Foundation. We love being part of this important community.
Yet, besides the anniversary celebrations, there are also reasons for concern, such as the increasing collaboration with Big Tech. Moreover, it’s proving increasingly challenging to distinguish between facts and opinions in Wikipedia articles. Some even call this a culture war. Favas.net, at least, remains vigilant.
