A letter on equality to World Bank
According to over two hundred economic scientists inequality in the world has increased to new heights in recent years, particularly between 2019 and 2020. Their data proves inequality in the world is increasing faster than ever. In an open letter published earlier this month to the World Bank they warn of the dire consequences this could have for the entire world. In particular, they point out that rising inequality is contrary to UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs) of 2015.
