A safer world for the truth

People’s Tribunal on the Murder of Journalists ended with a closing session last month. The judges found the states of Mexico, Sri Lanka and Syria guilty of negligence and human rights violations in the cases of three murdered journalists. The ‘A Safer World For The Truth’ project, which People’s Tribunal organizes, will continue to reopen cold cases and endeavour to end impunity.
A Safer World For The Truth is an initiative by Free Press Unlimited (FPU), Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and Reporters Without Borders (RSF) to investigate, document and pursue justice for murdered journalists. By re-investigating murders and reporting their findings to media, civil society and local authorities
