Transport poverty blocks access to society

In order to maintain itself in the modern city and society, mobility is conditional. Without mobility one does not get far. There is a serious risk of transport poverty if one does not have sufficient and proper means of transport, or can’t handle these resources well enough.

Favas.net compiled a definition of transport poverty on basis of applied, exploratory research, and an international literature survey (all work in co-operation with Hugo van der Steenhoven). Transport poverty means, in short, that due to limited means of transport, one can’t fully participate in social life.
